ESTABLISHMENT LEGISLATION OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Construction and Technical Affairs was established in accordance with the “Decree Law No. 124 on the administrative organization of higher education higher education institutions and higher education institutions”, which regulates the principles regarding the establishment and duties of administrative organizations established according to Article 51 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547.

OUR DUTIES

The duties of our Department of Construction and Technical Affairs, which serves intensively in all kinds of construction, facility, repair, maintenance, manufacturing, survey, project, exploration, tender and supervision works required for our university, have a wide range of duties. Our Presidency, which assumes serious responsibilities on technical issues on behalf of our university, works in a sharing and participatory structure with the awareness of teamwork in order to realize the goals targeted in line with the strategic plan it has made, and shows the necessary effort and sensitivity to finalize the plans effectively. With our current staff, we aim to find solutions to problems as quickly as possible with an effective service understanding in the areas we are responsible for. Our Duties and Responsibilities can be listed as follows:

1. Coordinating the project design works of the buildings and facilities of our university, preparing and implementing the projects.

2. Preparing the tender files of investment works and conducting the relevant tenders.

3. To carry out the technical supervision of the tendered works, to organize the progress payments and to carry out the acceptance procedures of the completed works.

4. To determine the maintenance, repair and renovation needs of our existing buildings and to ensure that these needs are met.

5. To design the landscaping works of our university and to implement them according to the campus layout plan.

6. To carry out expropriation and mapping works of our university.

7. To maintain, repair and operate the telephone exchange and telephone installations of our university.

8. To carry out maintenance, repair and operation of electricity and generator works of our university.

9. To carry out works related to our heat power plants.

10. To carry out landscaping, afforestation, grass planting, irrigation and maintenance of green areas.
